Hey Glory. Thanks for your comments. I realize that the map didn't come with any wordings and that I posted it sort of thinking that any of the necessary political nuances I'm trying to grasp would be clear. I should take this opportunity to just be straight up, though...I believe that Jewish people have been hunted down through time. I believe that the Holocaust occurred. I believe that anti-semetism is real. I believe that there is a difference between being Zionism and Judaism. One is not the other. I believe that we all have to deal with our anti-semetism and that it is part of an oppressive power based matrix of domination. I also realize that it is pretty damned easy for people if they so choose to openly couch/hide/voice anti-semetic tendencies via discussing the occupation and how wrong it is. I think that I've observed people saying some pretty awful things about Jewish people under the guise of fighting the occupation. I think that is wrong. A fine line, fine distinction. But as I'm educating myself about the issues, it's one I have to make and challenge myself around.
