How do they access facebook, twitter, blogs and other forms of electronic social media...

Is it because places like twitter, facebook, blogger and the rest roll over and play dead when donut eaters come calling? Or is it because people offer open access to so many via facebook profile pages, twitter accounts and blogs. I have a twitter account but don't tweet because I didn't really get why that was useful. I have literally less than twenty facebook friends and I keep it that way by regularly culling "friends" with my e-sushi knife. My blog is about as open access as it gets. I blog a lot but more generally. I'm thinking about taking my blog under again but I'm not sure if blogger's willingness to ingratiate itself to the state and its thugs will make my attempt at creating more private space within which to blog a big muthfuckin' joke. hmmm....
