Red Power United (RPU) is a Grassroots Native Rights Movement whose goal is to help Native people and Native communities to bring about social, political, economic, or environmental change by pressuring the Canadian Government
through social activism to honor treaty obligations and provide financial resources, education, housing, health care and to relieve poverty of Native communities.
Red Power United (Native Rights Movement) is based on the fundamental ideas and principles of the 46 articles of United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
Red Power United (Native Rights Movement) was formed by a group of Native rights activists who felt the need for a Grassroots Native rights movement across Canada, that is free of government or corporate funding and who are fully self-supporting through other Native and Non-Native people and communities who support their movement to take it upon themselves to help in any way possible where the Canadian government is not helping.
