At 10pm on Wednesday night, 10 police officers arrested Jaroslava Avila outside Queens Park Subway station. Jaroslava is a prominent Indigenous sovereignty and solidarity activist - Women's Coordinating Committee Chile/Mapuche. She will be appearing in court Thursday morning at 10am. Her family has called for supporters to be present in court.
Jaroslava has been arrested on G20 related conspiracy charges.
