their eyes are hard. i have no love for them. in fact, i wish her precious little conservative, decadently expensive, heterocentric, monogamous, outmoded ritual wedding ceremony had been a complete and utter internationally publicized disaster. her wedding was not news. it was pointless, useless drivel.

That's one not untrue way to put it. I would say I wonder how much money was wasted on it, but I really don't want to know.
I know folks are all excited about gay marriage's spread and being legalized, but I'm pretty sure it's only a last ditch attempt to keep people getting married. Not for me. Been there. Done that.

Oh, I think I covered that with "decadently expensive", Freida Bee, MD. I'm not at all excited by the spread of legal, societally validated marriage. Or more to the point, I'm not excited about its romanticization. I seem to rock? heh. Thanks for the cautious...erm...grudging validation...? Not necessary. I'm self validating.
