Pligs, Ploys and what happens when the sisterwives aren't two men...

I'm really enjoying this show. The similarities for me as a Black caribbean born queer sexually perverse poly woman with two male partners vastly outweigh the differences (THEY ARE WHITE HETEROSEXUAL FUNDAMENTALIST CHRISTIAN PATRIARCHAL BREEDER COW WIMMIN WHO BELIEVE THAT THEIR HUSBAND CAN HAVE MORE THAN ONE WIFE BUT THEY SHOULD ONLY HAVE HIM AND THEY CERTAINLY SHOULDN'T SLEEP WITH EACH OTHER)...which, of course, I do not ignore. I also don't use them to justify denying myself tiny bits of pleasure grounded in familiarity, either. :)

if what you're reading here grips you, holds you, fascinates you, provokes you, emboldens you, pushes you, galvanizes you, discomfits you, tickles you, enrages you so much that you find yourself returning again and again...then link me.

C'mon Jane. :) You know that as wimmiin who are heterosexual, (non procreative) sex negative and patriarchal, they would be repulsed by the idea of being a triad and would be despondent and thoroughly directionless without him as compass in the flesh. I can't even attempt to fantasize about them being dykes or even nice lesbians or even more mainstreamed gay wimmin. The reality of who they are does not allow for sufficient willing suspension of disbelief. :)

thegayte-keeper, I found it really fascinating. Still it was a bit too surface for me. Lacking in background information like who is warring with who, who is allied with who, who stabbed who in the back, etc. That sort of information would really fill out their picture for me.

Wow. Your blog both terrifies and delights me. I’m, first, terrified by your courage and conviction (which sends shocks of self-loathing through my bodymind for not being nearly as open myself), and delighted to be reminded that there are women like you out there just, well, Being. Amazing on both counts.

All the best to you.
