When we have meals we say: Thank-you Goddess...

First Buttertart and I sanded off the dark wine coloured coat of the table. That took a week. Then I cleaned the table multiple times to make sure there was no residue left behind.

Then I drew Her first in pencil, then in marker, paint marker with gold and copper gilt marker.

Her feet ran off the table cuz I made her 'fro so massive. :) She's my first large piece in over ten years. It's taken me this long to create, define, set, protect the space I've needed to be able to do this in peace. sigh...happy. :)

Nine year old wrote "thank-you goddess" all along the sides of the table after I finished drawing Her.

Then I did a combination stain, clear coat and hardener. And yes (yawn) I'm nekkid. Some people blog nekkid.
